What We Do
The Effingham Public Library is the public library of Effingham, Illinois. We have over 50,000 books, magazines, and audio-visual materials and an annual circulation of over 250,000 items. We also offer a wide variety of programs and services.
Did you know? In addition to library cards, EPL also offers print and copy services, meeting rooms, digital services, a library of things, and is home to the Effingham County Genealogical & Historical Society and Effingham County Case Managers!
Programs include the RAISE - Afterschool Program, Summer Read, Winter Read, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten and the Vault Art Gallery!
Outreach endeavors include the Book Bike Mission, Library Book Box Vending Machine, and the Forget Me Not Resource Center.
