Jim Beam’s Corner Cattery

We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization founded by Jim Beam and Heather Mumma. Jim purchased the building, and Heather used her construction crew to remodel and construct the interior.

We are an animal shelter. We typically house 100 cats at a time. We do rehome dogs from Illinois and other states, but we do not have room for them in the actual shelter due to a lack of water from a shallow well.

Saving and re-homing cats doesn't come cheap. At Jim Beam's Cattery, we have saved the lives of hundreds of cats while helping them find loving homes. Food, utilities, vet bills and salaries - they all add up. Jim Beam's Cattery is a registered non-profit. Meaning every dollar you donate goes directly to helping us continue to better the lives of stray and abandoned cats as well as giving their new owners a healthy companion that can provide years of joy.
