Who We Are
Effingham County Humane Society
Since 1979, the Effingham County Humane Society has been committed to serving Effingham County and the surrounding area. We are located in the former Funkhouser School, and our non-profit shelter is sustained by fundraising, contributions, and adoption fees.
What We Do
The goal of the Effingham County Humane Society is to reduce animal suffering in our county through educating and promoting responsible pet ownership, including spaying/neutering pets, appropriate pet identification, proper pet care, and the quality adoption of homeless pets.
